Asian shares close lower on Tuesday
TOKYO – JAPANESE shares ended 1.17 per cent lower on Tuesday, hit by a firmer yen, worries over automobile production and a disappointing earnings report from Nintendo, brokers said. The Nikkei index fell 113.27 points to 9,558.69 while the Topix declined 0.84 per cent or 7.04 points to 833.64.
